Mission Statement of the Detroit Alumni Chapter
We are an organization dedicated to the mission of Alabama State University located in Historic Montgomery Alabama. We support the community by attending events at K-12 institutions and community groups to promote our university by recruiting students to attend Alabama State University as agents to the recruiting staff at college fairs, seminars, public appearances and, other community events as requested. Our goal is to improve the quality of life in our community through networking with alumni and supporters of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. .Our membership is committed to impact students in grades K-12 to attend Alabama State by attending career fairs and, being ambassadors to the University.
